Final Fantasy: Memory of the Damned is a fan made installment in the Final Fantasy series. The game follows Hajnal Úr and his family, as they try restore their House's power. The events of the game are set in the developing nation known as Huetziz, where the people have lived under a tyrannical reign for several years. The royal family was forcibly removed after the death of the family's matriarch, but they still live on. Some of the family have integrated into the developing society, but others still wish to rule.
Main Characters[]
In total there are 9 playable characters. The main character is Hajnal Úr, a member of the Királynője Imperial Family, with most of his feelings and background explored. All of the main characters are related and come from the same family. All of them have been cursed with something known as the Matriarch's Masque. A branded mark that will kill them unless they do as the Empress says.
- Hajnal Úr - Often referred to as "Haj" by his peers and family, he is the main character of the story. When the Királynője Imperial Family was still prosperous, he was a low level member who didn't hold a title. When Huetziz was invaded he was able to escape along with other low level members of the family. With most of the family gone and the Empress's worsening condition, he became second in line to the throne.
